Artistic fiesta as Freedom Party Week kicks off tomorrow

KUKURUKU Inc., in collaboration with Freedom Park Lagos, has announced the commencement of the annual Freedom Party Week. This vibrant celebration will take place from Friday, September 27th to October 1st to mark Nigeria’s 64th year of independence and the 14th anniversary of Freedom Park’s establishment. The week-long festivity promises an exhilarating lineup of cultural showcases, including live music performances, dynamic dance routines, compelling drama presentations, and the spoken word. The event will also feature a variety of exhibitions that highlight the rich tapestry of Nigerian culture and history.
Freedom Party Week is more than just a celebration; it’s a reflection of our nation’s journey and the continuous striving for liberty and unity. It’s a platform for artists, thinkers, and leaders to express and inspire and foster a sense of community and national pride.
According to Project coordinator for Kukuruku Inc. and Freedom Park Lagos, Raymond Bola Browne, “We invite everyone to join us at Freedom Park, a place where the spirit of Nigeria’s independence is enshrined, to partake in the festivities. This event is a testament to the resilience and creativity of the Nigerian people and a tribute to the progress we’ve made as a nation.
