African Writers Tribe holds Youth Capacity Development Hangout in Abuja

STARTING from Saturday, November 13, 2021, African Writers Tribe will hold ‘Youth Capacity Development Hangout’ in Abuja, as part of its efforts to develop a new orientation of undertaking reading as first prerequisite for leadership among young people. The event will hold at KMC Hotel, KMC Street, Off NNPC Filling Station, Along Mountain of Fire & Miracles Church, Karu Site, Abuja, Nigeria. Time is 2.00 pm.
According to book reading promoter and founder, Josephine Oghenekevbe Ogufere who doubles as host for the event, “The aim of African Writers Tribe is to coach young Nigerians extensively in Abuja in writing, publishing, performance and helping them sell their books thereby making them not just authors but authorpreneurs who will make profit from their writing and be fully engaged in taking social and leadership responsibilities.
“We have been able to kick off in Lagos, Rivers, , Aba, Enugu and Benue. In this programme,
we hope to cover Abuja, Adamawa and Kaduna States. The main purpose is to promote knowledge and capacity among Nigerian youth and encourage them to work towards creating a great nation they can be proud of.”
The programme will feature the art of writing, speaking, leadership, financial intelligence, digital literary, and emotional intelligence coaching, among other exciting line up of activities.
