A new chapter unfolds as Best In Print Academy matriculates pioneer students

LAST Friday, December 13, 2024, marked a momentous occasion for Best In Print Academy, Ibadan, as the institution held its maiden matriculation ceremony. The event, which took place at the academy’s state-of-the-art premises located at NTC complex, opposite Nigeria Bar Association Secretariat, Oyo State Chapter, Ibadan, was a resounding testament to the institution’s unwavering commitment to providing top-notch education and fostering academic excellence.
As the Proprietor of the Academy and Chairman of the Governing Council, Mr. Gbadega Adedapo warmly received the gathering, he shared his vision for the establishment of the academy with unbridled passion. He told the students to seize the opportunity and make the most of their time at the institution, aptly putting it, “The future belongs to those who prepare for it today.”
While delivering the keynote virtually titled ‘How to be the Best among the Rest in your Academy and Career’, the Director of Academic Planning Prof. Adebayo Agunbiade masterfully highlighted a 7-point procedure, precept, and process as the guiding principles for academic excellence. These principles, he said include setting clear goals, developing a growth mindset, cultivating discipline and time management, seeking mentorship and guidance, staying curious and innovative, building strong relationships, and staying focused and resilient as the hallmarks of academic excellence that will propel the students to greatness.
Also addressing the gathering virtually, the Provost of the Academy, Mr. Francis Deepak Jadhav, informed the audience of the institution’s commitment to quality learning, operating under a conducive academic environment that fosters academic excellence, creativity and innovation.

The highlight of the event was the taking of the Matriculation Oath, which was performed by the Registrar, Mr. Olufemi Timothy Ogunyejo.
