ACCESSIBLE Publishers Ltd on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, hosted a grand end-of-year party at the elegant Zonta Club House, Jericho, Ibadan that drew staff, management, partners and friends of the company together in a celebration that blended reflection, strategy and merriment. The event provided a fitting platform for the company to review its performance in the outgoing year, reinforce strategies for sustaining its market leadership, and unveil ambitious plans for 2026, a landmark year when Accessible Publishers will clock 30 years of excellence and innovation in the Nigerian publishing and education industry.
A major highlight of the occasion was the address by the Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Gbadega Adedapo, who expressed profound appreciation to staff across all units, departments and subsidiaries for their dedication and teamwork. He described 2025 as a year of strategic fortification and recalibration, noting that despite economic challenges, the company remained resilient, innovative and growth-driven.
According to him, the recruitment of over 61 new personnel during the year and the strong synergy across departments enabled the organisation to navigate a complex business environment while maintaining its market standing. He emphasised that the end-of-year celebration was a necessary pause to acknowledge achievements and energise the workforce for greater accomplishments ahead.
In his detailed 2025 Year-in-Review, Mr. Adedapo highlighted landmark achievements that further strengthened the company’s leadership position. Central among these was the groundwork completed for Smipay Fintech, a new subsidiary scheduled to commence operations in 2026, marking Accessible Publishers’ strategic entry into the financial technology space with a focus on seamless and secure transaction solutions. Equally significant was the announcement of the full operational launch of the company’s radio station, Oxygen 96.9 FM, set to go live in 2026.
