IN just four months, the Minister of Tourism, Mrs. Lola Ade-John has orchestrated a transformational journey in Nigeria’s tourism landscape, leaving an indelible mark despite facing adversity. Appointed as the pioneer minister of a standalone tourism ministry, her visionary leadership has set a new standard for excellence.

Amidst her temporary indisposition, Mrs. Ade-John’s dedication remains unwavering. She became the beacon of Community Tourism, as she traversed over 12 states in eight weeks spreading the tourism gospel of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Her commitment to engaging directly with communities exemplifies her hands-on approach and passion for inclusivity.

Under her stewardship, sustainable tourism policies have flourished through initiatives like the Eco-Genesis Incubator Programme, Mobile Culinary Events and Community Tourism projects. By breathing life into the National Meeting of Tourism Minister and Commissioners, she fosters collaboration and cohesion at the highest levels.
