Writers felicitates Bukar Usman on 81st birthday

THE Society of Young Nigerian Writers (SYNW) has congratulated Dr. Bukar Usman (OON) on his 81st birthday. Usman is a retired federal permanent secretary who served in the presidency with distinction, earning the respect of his peers for his selflessness and unwavering dedication to his country.

In a statement issued by the president of the society, Wole Adedoyin, SYNW lauded Usman’s remarkable contributions to nation-building, both through his distinguished civil service career and his prolific literary endeavours. According to him, “Usman’s life serves as an inspiration to all Nigerians, especially young people, demonstrating the power of hard work, integrity, and a commitment to serving the greater good.”

Born in Biu, Borno State, Usman is a man of many talents. A philanthropist, public policy analyst, and culture enthusiast, he has authored over 20 books on various subjects in just seven years since venturing into the literary world. His diverse works showcase his keen intellect, insightful observations, and deep understanding of the Nigerian society.
