It is disheartening to witness other distributors seemingly gaining preferential treatment while Silverbird’s offerings are not given the same level of consideration.

Moreover, it is discouraging to see that some distributors are reluctant to have films distributed by Silverbird to streaming platforms after screening at the theatres. The Silverbird brand carries immense weight and respect, and I firmly believe that your excellent connections and networking capabilities should facilitate a seamless partnership with major streaming platforms like Netflix, Amazon, HBO, Showmax, among others. Outsourcing to these platforms should not be an obstacle but rather a strategic move to extend Silverbird’s reach and influence across a broader audience.

By maintaining a strong presence on streaming platforms, Silverbird Distribution can ensure that the best Nigerian and West African films reach global audiences, enhancing the reputation of our local film industry and providing filmmakers with a platform to share their stories with the world.
