Acclaim as Aig-Imoru’s ‘Fulfilling Purpose’ is launched in Lagos

KENDI Aig-Imoru’s much expected book Fulfilling Purpose was launched late last year at the Radisson Blu, Victoria Island, Lagos, on December 10, 2023 amidst eulogies for the book and its author. The event was a celebration of finding purpose, bringing together avid readers, and the author’s family and friends to witness the unveiling of Aig-Imoru’s much-anticipated book.

The launch provided a purposeful atmosphere and a prevailing mood reflective of the essence of the book. It was an immersive experience for the guests who had an exciting and engaging evening.

The high point of the evening was the grand unveiling of Fulfilling Purpose, with Aig-Imoru engaging the audience with reading of excerpts to the delight of the audience drawn from different strata of society. In her opening remarks, the author had received hed guests with heartfelt gratitude and shared insights into the journey behind her current book. Aig-Imoru’s book reading session set the right pace and tone for an evening filled with appreciation for the book.

Guests in attendance included Pastor Shola Oladipo, Yemisi Ransome-Kuti, Assistant Inspector-General of Police Tunji Alapini, Mrs. Anyiam Osigwe and others too numerous to mention. The chairman of the occasion and Deputy Controller (Customs) Tin can Island Port, Mr. Gambo Iyere Aliyui, said: “Today is a milestone. Today is a remarkable day. Today is noteworthy because we have come to celebrate Kendi who has written a very laudable book.”

“This book questions the core existence of life,” said event compere and book reviewer, Mr. Reginald Chiedu Ofodile, who also noted, “The book is an insightful study of christian theology. The words of praise and encouragement underscore the significance of the book in Nigeria today and the global community.”

The book is an invitation to work in purpose, walk in purpose, live in purpose and fullfil purpose. The author Aig-Imoru spoke on writing the book “as a journey to discovering the essence of life. It answers the fundamental question of existence: Why are we here? What are we doing and where are we going to from here?”

Guests left with autograghed copies of the book and an overwhelming enthusiasm. The launch marked the beginning of a new chapter for the author of the book Fulfilling Purpose in today’s world.
